At Venga Sports, we believe that every ambitious athlete deserves the opportunity to develop through the right combination of sport, education, and international experience. We help athletes explore opportunities around the world and guide them towards a pathway that matches their ambitions.
 

Venga Sports was founded in 2023 by Kane van der Ven, based on his own experience as an international student-athlete. At 14 years old Kane moved to the United States to play high school sports, giving him first-hand experience of what it takes to move abroad, adapt to a new environment, and combine education with competitive sport.
 

After returning to the Netherlands, Kane wanted to help other athletes experience similar opportunities. To further develop his knowledge and gain extensive experience within the international sports recruitment industry, he joined KingsTalent, where he worked until 2026.
 

During those years, Kane gained valuable insight into the industry and worked with athletes from different backgrounds and sporting levels. At the same time, he saw how larger organisations can become increasingly commercial as they grow. This strengthened his belief that athletes need a more personal approach, one that focuses on their individual development rather than simply placing them somewhere.
 

With Venga Sports, Kane is now combining the knowledge and experience he has built over the years with his original passion, helping athletes find opportunities that genuinely benefit their future.
 

We are not focused solely on the United States, nor on one specific type of pathway. We look at the athlete first, explore the possibilities, and help determine which route offers the best environment for their sporting, academic, and personal development.
